COVID-19: During these unprecedented times, we are doing all we can to ensure the supply chain we are responsible for continues to flow with minimal disruption to our customers, partners & the end user.

However, there are a lot of aspects of this situation that are completely out of our control.  Issues such as delays at ports, delays at customers whilst our driver's complete forms and in some cases, basic medical checks.  Regularly we are now encountering deliveries that cannot be accepted at premises at the last minute due to deep cleaning being undertaken or last-minute shut-downs.  The knock-on effect of freight being ‘abandoned’ on our vehicle, means other deliveries may not be accessible, or collections cannot be completed due to insufficient space.

Timed bookings for LCL & FCL during this time need to allow for a sufficient buffering period for timed delivery slots.  Whilst we always endeavour to be on time, every time, at the moment delays are out of our hands.  Off-load & loading times at premises are now taking longer to allow for social distancing & basic cleansing.  We ask for our customers to ensure the delivery point are aware of the exceptional issues we are facing in the current climate and are flexible with their booking windows.
